Established in Alsace since 2006, we are specialized in the design of viticultural machinery, and more specifically vine pruning and caring equipment to be mounted on vineyard tractors, straddle tractors and harvesting machines.
Our design department takes in charge the development. The production of the parts is entrusted to carefully selected suppliers. The machines are assembled in our premises by our experienced staff.
We have chosen this production method to offer you products designed and manufactured with the latest technologies at the best quality-price ratio.
Our DNA consists in innovation, constant improvement of our machines, presence in all vineyards all over the world with a network of hand-picked dealers. It is the reason of our passion for the vineyard.
Provitis' adventure began with the pre-pruner MP 122 and the trimmer ST 120, which are both very popular among the professionals.
Innovative technological choices for the tying and lifting means made this machine a real commercial success.
Its development required no fewer than 3 years It has been a turning point in the development of Provitis both in France and abroad.
The VSE 430 is the result of the encounter of a winemaker of the Saumur region with Provitis. A great adventure that earned us a mention at the Sitévi trade fair in 2013.
In 2015, Provitis buys land in the industrial zone of Sainte Croix en Plaine. The first sod was turned on January 15, 2016 and, on July 22, the whole team moved in its new premises with a total surface of 3,200 square meters.
The carrying frame SMD 50 P can be used both in narrow ands wide vines. It stands out for its U-shaped structure, with a very low center of gravity for more stability. The innovation also lies in its kinematics, with a large spreading stroke, minimum space requirements and an unobstructed forward view.
A'syst is the vegetation follower for the leaf stripper LR 350. Already equipped with a mechanical parallelogram, Provitis now introduces A'syst, the assisted vegetation follower version for its leaf stripper LR 350. The A'syst option ensures speed and flexibility while respecting the harvest.
The SMD 50P carrying frame was initially designed for front attachment, but its potential showed that a rear attachment was indispensable for large machines. Based on this observation, Provitis contacted 3 partners from the Cognac region. This small group initiated the EliXO project, the first trimmer on a trailed bogie.
